Reserved For Two Saturday Date Guide in Oklahoma City | July 18, 2026
A Downtown Adventure Filled with Great Food & Rooftop Views
9:00 AM:
Start at the Farmers Market at Scissortail Park
Grab a coffee first and wander through one of my favorite Saturday traditions in Oklahoma City. The Scissortail Farmers Market is open 9:00 AM–1:00 PM every Saturday during the season and features Oklahoma growers, fresh flowers, local bakers, handmade gifts, and food vendors. It's the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a summer morning together.
10:30 AM:
Stroll Through Myriad Botanical Gardens
Just a few minutes away, take a leisurely walk through the gardens. Even in July, the shaded paths and Crystal Bridge offer a relaxing escape from the heat, making this one of downtown's best morning stops.
12:00 PM:
Lunch at The Jones Assembly
One of the city's most popular lunch spots, with a spacious patio, elevated comfort food, and a lively atmosphere that's perfect for a weekend date.
2:00 PM:
Explore Automobile Alley
After lunch, browse local boutiques and specialty shops. Stop for a sweet treat or an iced coffee before heading to your next stop.
4:30 PM:
Relax at O Bar
Arrive just after opening to enjoy rooftop views before the evening crowd arrives. Order a cocktail or mocktail and take in the downtown skyline.
6:30 PM:
Dinner at Nonesuch
If you're celebrating something special, this is one of the most memorable dining experiences in Oklahoma City. Reservations are strongly recommended.
8:30 PM:
Evening at Scissortail Park
Head back downtown and enjoy the beautiful summer atmosphere. On this weekend, you'll also be able to enjoy the park after Friday night's Night Market and take advantage of the lively summer setting. During the season, Scissortail also hosts free concerts and community events throughout the summer.
Tip: If you're heading to the concert, stop by a local bakery or dessert shop before you arrive and bring a sweet treat to enjoy while listening to the music. It's an inexpensive touch that makes the evening feel a little more special.
